I. Scope of Application: Applicable to the thermal conductivity of dry clay and sandy soil specimens. The thermal resistance of the specimen should be greater than 0.1m ².k /W.
The method of detecting the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of clay, sand and other materials by using a heat flow meter is connected to a computer to achieve fully automatic detection and generate an experimental report. The instrument calculates the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance by applying a stable hot surface temperature to one side of the sample. Heat is transferred from the sample to the cold surface (room temperature), and the transferred heat flow is measured. It is specially equipped with a rock and soil sample cylinder and a specific heat capacity testing device, which can be used for thermal conductivity analysis and specific heat capacity determination of clay, sandy soil and other soils.

Complies with GB/T10295-2008 "Determination of Steady-state Thermal Resistance and Related Properties of Thermal Insulation Materials - heat flow meter method" and ISO/DIS8301 "Thermal insulation - determination of steady-state thermal resistance and related properties ---- heat flow meter apparatus".
Iii. Main Technical Parameters
Thermal conductivity range: 0.015-400W/mk, with an accuracy better than 5%.
(Equipped with a circular sample cylinder specially designed for geotechnical testing, with a diameter of 90mm)

3. Cold surface temperature: Room temperature, measured by a high-precision digital display meter with 0.2 grade accuracy and a resolution of 0.01℃.
4. Hot surface temperature control: Room temperature -99.99℃. It adopts a high-precision programmable digital display meter for temperature measurement, with a 0.2 grade accuracy and a resolution of 0.01℃. It is equipped with a flat plate heater and controlled by a bidirectional thyristor.
5. The cold noodles are forced air-cooled.
6. Computerized automatic testing is adopted.
7. A WPY heat flow meter is adopted, with a heat flow parameter of 23.26w/m ².mv.
8. An acrylic wind shield is adopted, allowing direct observation of the experimental process.
9. Heat transfer area of the hot and cold plates: 150×150 (mm).
10. The adjustable spacing of the cold and hot plates: 0-160 (mm).
