This device conducts external hydrostatic tests on various high-pressure gas cylinders. It uses an industrial control computer to control the entire set of operation tests including empty cylinder weighing, water filling, full cylinder weighing, and hydrostatic tests. Through these tests, the volumetric residual deformation rate of the gas cylinders can be accurately measured to ensure their safe use. The product is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T9251-2021 "Test Method for Hydraulic Pressure of Gas Cylinders". It is applicable to the regular inspection of compressed natural gas cylinders and cylinders of different types and specifications.

 

The external pressure test machine for gas cylinders is mainly used to conduct pressure resistance tests on the tested gas cylinders and obtain the volumetric residual deformation rate of the tested cylinders at the same time. It is controlled by a computer. Its working principle is: The test bottle is placed in a specially designed water jacket. A high-pressure pump is used to pressurize the test bottle. Once the set pressure is reached, it automatically enters the pressure-holding state to conduct a pressure resistance test on the test bottle. At the same time, the gas cylinder expands in shape under the test pressure, squeezing part of the water in the water jacket into the measuring cup. This part of the water volume is the volume deformation of the test bottle. The water volume is transmitted to the industrial control computer through the system. After the gas cylinder is depressurized, the elastic deformation disappears, and the water in the measuring cup returns to the water jacket. However, the remaining water volume in the measuring cup is still more than that before the gas cylinder is pressurized. This extra water volume is the residual deformation of the test bottle's volume, which is transmitted to the industrial control computer through the water volume collection system. The ratio of the volumetric residual deformation to the total deformation is the volumetric residual deformation rate of the gas cylinder.
