Overview
This equipment uses smoldering cigarettes and simulated match flames as ignition sources to conduct anti-ignition tests on soft furniture. It simulates the anti-ignition performance of soft furniture when it is impacted by match flames and cigarette butt flames during actual use, thereby determining the anti-ignition performance of soft furniture. The test chamber is treated with heat insulation. The outer layer is made of stainless steel, and heat insulation materials are added to the middle and inner layers. The box body is elegant and generous.
Scope of application
The anti-ignition characteristics of soft furniture were evaluated by simulating a match flame fire source. It is mainly applicable to the test and evaluation of the flame resistance characteristics of soft mattresses, soft furniture packages, sofas and other soft ladder furniture for household use.
Compliant with standards
It complies with the requirements of GB17927.1~2-2011 "Evaluation of Flame Resistance of Soft Furniture - Mattresses and Sofas - Part 1 smoldered cigarettes and Part 2 Simulated match Flames" and ISO 8191-1~ 2:1988 test standards.
Performance parameters
Simulated match flame
Ignition source system: One stainless steel combustion tube, with an outer diameter of (8±0.1mm), an inner diameter of (6.5±0.1mm), and a length of (200±5mm).
2. Hose: The length should be (2.5 to 3mm) and the inner diameter should be (7±1mm), connected to the stainless steel combustion pipe.
3. Flow control system: It includes a flowmeter, a fine-tuning valve, a switch valve and a pressure regulating valve.
4. To meet the requirement of a flow rate of (45±2) m1/min, the nominal output pressure provided by this system is 2.8kpa.
5. Timing range: 0-999 seconds. It can respectively display and record the time of continued burning or smolaring, fabric cracking time, and specimen extinguishing time.
6. Test distance of the igniter: Adjustable from 20 to 80 degrees, with an automatic movement and withdrawal mechanism for the ignition.
7. Flow measurement range: 10 to 100m1/min
Smoldering cigarettes
Cigarette ignition source:
1. The cigarettes are cylindrical cigarettes packaged with filters or without filters and interfaces, and meet the following requirements:
Length: 60±5mm; Diameter: 8±0.5mm; Mass per unit length: (0.6±0.1) g/50mm;
2. Cigarette burning time: (12±3) min/50mm;
3. From the same type of cigarettes, every 10 cigarettes form a group. Randomly select one cigarette from them and measure the burning time of the cigarette in the laboratory according to the following method: After the cigarette is pre-treated as per 7.1, take out one cigarette and make marks 5mm and 55mm away from the ignition end respectively. Insert a thin steel needle horizontally into the non-lit end of the cigarette, with the insertion length not exceeding 11mm. The ignition end is lit in accordance with the provisions of 8.2 to test and record the time it takes for the cigarette to burn between the two marks.
3. Laboratory: 2.5 meters in length, 2.2 meters in width, and 2.5 meters in height, including ventilation ducts. Made of stainless steel;
4. Observation window: One large tempered glass observation window, surrounded by SUS304 stainless steel.
5. Gas flow regulation: Adjust the test gas flow to 45±2mL/min;
