Comply with the requirements of the safety helmet flame retardant performance test standards stipulated in GB/T 2812-2006 "Test Methods for Safety Helmets" and GB/T 2811-2007 "Safety Helmets". It is mainly used for testing the flame retardant performance of safety helmets and is widely applied in safety helmet manufacturing enterprises, major quality inspection units and construction engineering inspection stations.
Test method: The flame retardant performance test of safety helmets should be conducted in a fume hood. Use a safety helmet that has undergone high-temperature impact testing and hold it on the bracket in the normal wearing direction. Align the side of the helmet shell with the flame jet head. Adjust the axis of the flame jet head to pass through the axis of the helmet shell and be 50mm±1mm above the edge of the helmet shell, avoiding the vent hole. Adjust the position of the bracket so that the distance between the test area of the safety helmet and the end face of the flame jet head is 45mm±1mm, and then move it away. Open the gas volume regulating valve and adjust the flame length to 50mm±2mm to ensure that the flame has at least 15mm of blue flame. Move the stand to the determined position at the front. The flame acts on the cap shell for 10 seconds to cut off the gas source. Record the afterburning time and possible penetration phenomena accurately to 0.1 seconds.
Technical indicators
1. Bracket: It can firmly hold the safety helmet, ensuring its stable position during the test. It can be moved to adjust the distance between the safety helmet and the flame jet head.
2. Timer: Indication error ±1%, used to record the afterburning time, accurate to 0.01 seconds.
3. Timer: Indication error ±1%, used to determine the time when the flame is applied to the safety helmet. The burning time can be set by yourself. After the flame is applied, the Bunsen burner can be moved away by itself. Ignition timing range: 0-999.9 seconds.
4. Flame height measuring device: Scale height 50mm.
5. Flame nozzle: A horizontally placed fuel nozzle with an inner diameter of 10mm.
6. Fuel supply device: Pressure regulating valve, gas volume regulating valve, and gas storage tank device, which can ensure that the flame nozzle stably sprays a blue flame of 50mm in length.
7. Box: A large enough box can ensure that the test is not affected by wind.
8. Supply voltage and power: 220V±10%, 50HZ, power approximately 100W.
The inner diameter of the Bunsen burner is 10mm±0.10mm.
10. Gas source: Methane, propane, butane, liquefied petroleum gas (provided by the user).
11. Ambient temperature: -10 ℃ to 30℃.
12. Relative humidity: ≤85%.
Instrument features
1. Electronic ignition The burner automatically positions itself at regular intervals.
2. The ignition time can be set freely from 0 to 99.9 seconds. The continuation ignition time and smolder ignition time are both automatically recorded and digitally displayed.
3. The flame height is adjustable. There is a flame height gauge for measuring the flame height to assist in setting the flame height, and a flame temperature measurement device is also configured.
4. "Push-pull type" sample frame fixing device, "positioning wire" and "guide rail" assist in positioning.
5. It is equipped with a highly sensitive flammable gas leakage alarm device. If flammable gas is detected, it will alarm and automatically cut off the gas supply.
