It is used to determine the melt flow rate (MFR) value of various plastics and resins in the viscous flow state. It is applicable to engineering plastics with high melting temperatures such as polycarbonate, polyarylsulfone, fluoroplastics, and nylon. It is also applicable to the testing of plastics with relatively low melting points such as polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), ABS resin, polyoxymethylene (POM), and polycarbonate (PC) resin.
