Product Description

Scope of application: It is used to evaluate the ability of vertically installed bundled wires, cables or optical cables to suppress the vertical spread of flames under specified conditions. During the usage process, it needs to be used in conjunction with a smoke dust removal tower. The entire machine is composed of several parts, including a test chamber, an air source, a steel ladder, an exhaust purification system, and an ignition source.

Technical parameters
1. Test chamber: The experimental setup should be a self-standing box with a width of (1000±100) mm, a depth of (2000±100) mm and a height of (4000±100) mm. The rear wall and both sides of the test chamber should adopt a heat transfer coefficient of approximately 0.7W. m-2? 4. Discharge and purification device
The upper part of the test chamber is equipped with a digital anemometer to ensure that the air flow rate is less than 8M/S, which will not affect the air flow inside the test chamber.

Ignition source
1. Type: The ignition source should include one or two propane gas blowtorches with a belt, along with their matching flow meters and Venturi mixers. The fire supply surface should be a flat metal plate drilled with 242 holes of a diameter of 1.32mm. The center distance of these holes is 3.2mm, and they are arranged in three rows alternately, with 81, 80 and 81 holes in each row respectively, distributed within the nominal size range of 257×4.5mm. In addition, a row of small holes are opened on each side of the flamethrower plate. These guiding holes can maintain the stable combustion of the flame. Each blowtorch should be equipped with an accurate device to control the inflow rate of propane and air. Rotameters or mass flowmeters can be adopted
2. The ignition source position: The blowtorch should be placed horizontally, (75±5) mm away from the front surface of the cable sample, (600±5) mm away from the bottom of the test chamber, and symmetrical to the axis of the steel ladder. The ignition point of the blowtorch should be located at the center between the two crossbars of the steel ladder and at least 500mm away from the lower end of the sample.

Smoke dust removal tower: It is mainly used for the flue gas generated during experiments. The gas discharged after being treated by the smoke dust removal tower meets environmental protection requirements.
Material: The scrubber is entirely made of PP material, with no metal components in the system, and has extremely high resistance to acids, alkalis and corrosion.
Circulating liquid layer: It can be filled with tap water or washing liquid. Washing liquid is more effective. To prevent the waste discharged from corroding the bottom of the scrubber tower.
Air layer: The waste gas that needs to be treated and is discharged during production or experiments. The air layer is connected to the air inlet to allow the waste gas to enter the air layer.
Packing layer: The packing material of the scrubber tower adopts PP material sea urchin-shaped medium hole small balls, with a multi-toothed TELLERTT shape. The surface of the packing layer has a window, which is convenient for cleaning the small balls inside the packing layer. The main function of the filling layer is to disperse the waste gas in the air layer, turning it into dispersed waste, so that the waste gas can be fully cleaned in the water spray layer.
Water spray layer: The sprinkler heads in the water spray layer adopt PP 120-degree rotating non-clogging nozzles, covering an area of up to 95%. The water spray layer has an independent viewing window for easy inspection of the working condition of the sprinkler heads.
Anti-fog layer: It can effectively filter impurities in the air and also prevent water mist crystals in the exhaust gas from corroding the inner wall of the scrubber.
Circulating pump: The circulating pump enables the liquid in the circulating liquid layer to be recycled through the sprinkler heads, thus saving water.

I. Before the test, the cables or cable sections used as samples should be treated at a temperature of (23±5) ℃ for at least 16 hours, and the test chamber should be dry.
